The lounge is temporarily closed.
Due to the Terminal 3 West Modernization Project, the Centurion Lounge at San Francisco International Airport will move to a temporary location near Gate D12 on June 15, 2025, where we look forward to providing eligible Card Members a comfortable space to recharge and relax during their travels. The permanent lounge in Terminal 3 is expected to reopen in 2027. Through the American Express Global Lounge Collection, eligible Card Members can also access the following lounges at SFO: Delta Sky Club, Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, China Airlines Dynasty Lounge, Golden Gate Lounge and The Club SFO.

Meet the Artist
Tracie Cheng is a Taiwanese American artist that weaves lines and paint into dynamic visual dreamscapes. She very consciously observes the life around her—absorbing stories and experiences—and subconsciously watches them unfold onto the canvas. Resembling nature, fractals, complex patterns or forms, Tracie’s paintings are inspired by all the wondrous and regular things around us. The lines undulate in and out of visibility and reality while the paint provides shelter and contrast, allowing the paintings to maintain an assuring familiarity while remaining otherworldly.
Tracie’s aesthetic continues to be formed by the beauty and intricacies of the different cultures around her. Her artistic style channels aspects of Chinese brush painting, abstraction, with some architectural sensibilities sprinkled throughout, giving voice to her ever evolving relationship with faith, ethnicity, and narrative. These 2 original pieces were created for the newly renovated Centurion Lounge, drawing from the dense fog and dramatic elevations of San Francisco to evoke a sense of home while enlivening a spirit for adventure.

Meet the Chef
Ravi Kapur’s diversity and upbringing in Hawaii have cultivated his palate, a treasure he draws from to create his unique and delicious food. He opened Liholiho Yacht Club in 2015, dubbed by The San Francisco Chronicle as redefining California Cuisine. He earned a James Beard nomination for Best New Restaurant and was anointed Eater SF's 'Restaurant of the Year'. Liholiho and his other restaurant, Good Good Culture Club, focus on equity and inclusion. Incorporating ethos has been a lifelong pursuit of Chef Ravi's, as his restaurants are rooted in culture.

Meet the Mixologist
Jim Meehan worked at some of New York City’s most revered restaurants and bars including Gramercy Tavern and the Pegu Club before opening the James Beard Award-winning bar PDT in 2007. Besides running bars, Meehan co-edited Food & Wine Cocktails and Mr. Boston Official Bartender’s Guide; and his own books, The PDT Cocktail Book, Meehan’s Bartender Manual and The Bartender’s Pantry, have become industry favorites worldwide. He and his family reside in Portland, Oregon where he writes and works with clients of his consulting firm, Mixography Inc.

Anthony Giglio, The Centurion® Lounge Wine Director
Anthony Giglio is one of the most entertaining wine and spirits authorities on the planet. He has written several books, including three editions of FOOD & WINE’s Wine Guide; five editions of the Mr. Boston Official Bartender’s Guide, and his highly regarded first book, Cocktails in New York.
